To Future Yacht Owners,
Ten years ago, my wife Rose and I were in an extensive search for a 40ish foot trawler. We had been looking for months and frankly some of the boats we were shown were a disgrace. A few of which we would not even board. We decided to go to the Annapolis used boat show and that is where we met Ezra Androus for the first time. He seemed very young but had an extensive knowledge of boats and power. Kick in his positive attitude and personable manner, Rose and I had a very good impression of him. We felt very comfortable with him and were looking forward to working with him. After a brief discussion he told us about a couple of boats that he knew of that may interest us. We set up an appointment to view those boats. Unfortunately the day before we met with Ezra we got a call from someone about a 43’ trawler that had just arrived. We ended up making an offer on it. We were not sure if the deal would happen so we kept our appointment with Ezra. We both had mixed emotions about this since were happy we found a boat we liked and sad that we at a lost opportunity to work with Ezra. We told Ezra about the boat and our offer. We thought he would be upset but to our surprise he reassured us that this was a good vessel and our offer was completely fair. He did however show us the boats that we had planned to see just in case our deal did not happen. We did end up buying that boat. About a year later we were in Annapolis for the weekend and bumped into Ezra. He looked at our boat and reassured us that we had gotten a good boat. Rose and I were completely blown away by that. We never met anyone as honest as this. We swore if we ever bought another boat we would use Ezra.
Jump ahead nine years from the chance meeting and we were now ready for an upgrade to a 46’ to 48’ aft cabin motor yacht. We thought of Ezra straight away. We knew that he started his own brokerage but were not sure of the name. After spending a great deal of time over the next week searching, the leads kept getting warmer until I finally found him. He had started a brokerage called “Annapolis Yacht Company”. When I called him he actually remembered us after only a couple of short meetings we had almost a decade earlier. Impressive! We set up a meeting and discussed our needs. He had an extensive inventory but pointed out two boats that he felt may best fit our requirements. The first was a 46’ Performance Trawler which was totally awesome. The second was a 46’ Chris, also a beauty. Both boats were exceptionally clean and in tip-top shape. IN one meeting with him we accomplished more than we had in months at our last purchase. After several days and as many visits we decided on our dream boat, the PT. It had everything we could dream of and with only 50 hours on major engine overhauls the choice got real easy. We and sell real estate and own rental properties so we obtained our own financing. The day before closing I called to double check that all was on track. The call was disheartening, someone had dropped the ball. This would put off the closing until this mess was fixed. Rose and I were having a fit. I asked Ezra, if he could help us with financing so we wouldn’t have to put the closing off, as we had our hearts set on taking our new boat to the Fells Point Festival that weekend. I don’t know how he did it but we closed the next day. Thanks to Ezra, after only a week, we had found our boat, had a very successful survey, obtained financing and had our closing.
Now that several weeks have passed Rose and I are still in awe of how personal and professional our adventure had been treated. It was truly an unforgettable and pleasant experience.
Ezra, Rose and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done for us. We have been enjoying the new boat immensely. We are on it every moment we can be and are planning a couple of trips before we end this boating season.

Sincerely,
John and Rose Indelicato
